DESCRIPTION

Description and condition

Opel Lotus Omega with a 3.6-litre straight six, two Garrett turbochargers, 377 hp and a six-speed ZF manual gearbox. A saloon that in the early 90s was faster than almost anything on the road. Around 950 cars were built as Lotus Omega and Lotus Carlton in total; this one carries Lotus vehicle number 0571 on its plate.

We have known this car since 2017. Back then we inspected three Lotus Omegas in Germany for our client, and no. 0571 was clearly the best: first owner, bought from an Opel dealer, no rust. Since then it has belonged to the same keeper; it is currently with us. Now he is letting it go.

Before handover in 2017 the dealer prepared the car thoroughly: new tyres, engine oil and filter, gearbox and differential oil, coolant and brake fluid, air conditioning refilled (already converted to R134a), wheel alignment, new battery. The engine has been replaced; the replacement is recorded in the service book.

The car stood for the past year. On 5 October 2026 we started it, filled it with fresh fuel and drove it: everything works. We recommend a coolant change.

Bonnet, boot lid and front bumper have been repainted. The car currently has no valid MOT (HU).

Two owners according to the registration document (L.B.), 83,500 km according to the odometer (L.T.). We are happy to share videos of the 2017 inspection and collection. Viewing by appointment.
